Carl Lewis.

Carl Lewis.

In the athlete history, there is a very outstanding man that I have been learning about. His name is Carl lewis, Carl was very fast and strong man.  He tied Jesse owens record and he won the 4 title in all including the 200m race, “can’t you believe it”. Then came the season in 1991. Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell denominated the sprint events.

All in all Carl Lewis is one of the most world renowned Olympians of all time. While he did cause a stir he will always be remembered for his hard work and perseverance. Today he lives in Los Angeles, California.

Going for gold is like accomplishing one of the hardest things in life.
Olympics are coming up and lots of people are competing in it

For me if i won lots of medals it would make me very innpressive because i had won a formidable number of medals.
Outstanding athletes on the field.
Representing your country is challenging because there are other people from your country competing in the same event your in.

Gold is the medal everyone that is competing want because there can only be one winner and i hope nz wins one.
Over come your fears.
Listen to your coach. cause they help you strive to succeed.
Discipline yourself to achieve what you want.

Nadia Comaneci "Inspires Me"

Nadia Comaneci was one of the youngest competitor in the the 1980 summer olympics in Moscow and is now known as one of the best gymnasts in the world. Nadia was born November 12 1961.Nadia started gymnastics at the age of 6 and placed 13th in her first Romanian Champions in 1969 at the age of 8.

‘Nadia’s first international success was at the age of 13. In the 1975’s at the European Championships in Skien, Norway, Nadia won gold medals in every gymnast event apart from the second floor exercise where she placed second. In 1976 on July 18th Nadia Comaneci was awarded a perfect 10 on the uneven bars.

Nadia Comaneci inspires me because she competed in one of the hardest competitions in the world and always strive to succeed.

Thank you Vanila.
